Camphy was built around a simple question
What if technology helped people spend more meaningful time with each other in the real world?

We live in a world where connecting digitally has never been easier. Yet meaningful human connection can still be difficult to find.

Across campuses, workplaces, and neighbourhoods, people navigate academic pressure, career expectations, social comparison, changing relationships, and the challenges of everyday life. Someone may be surrounded by people and still find it difficult to find a person with whom they feel comfortable connecting.

Built at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Camphy began with the belief that meaningful connection, supportive communities, and opportunities to participate in everyday life should be easier to discover. Our platform brings people together through shared moods, interests, and experiences, helping turn digital discovery into opportunities for face-to-face interaction, friendship, collaboration, and community participation.

We are working towards a future where people can find someone to study with, build a project with, explore a shared interest, participate in activities, or simply spend time together.

    Post a mood, an interest, or a piece of knowledge. AI helps make the expression clear and engaging.

    Find people through shared moods, interests, and knowledge instead of traditional vanity follower counts.

  3. Step 3: Connect (+)

    One tap on Connect opens a real conversation with a real person around your shared intent.

  4. Step 4: Meet

    Conversations grow into groups, shared plans, and face-to-face meetings on campus.

ALIGN+

Understanding how people connect

Discovery built on resonance, not reach.

ALIGN+ is an optional AI-assisted feature designed to help members discover compatible connections based on authentic personal resonance.

Intent-driven discovery

Unlike conventional social networks that prioritise passive content consumption and metrics, ALIGN+ focuses entirely on mutual resonance and human alignment.

Your Signature Code

Through a short, guided conversation with an AI companion, members generate a Signature Code: a structured summary of their current state, interests, and connection preferences.

Privacy-first design

Raw conversation transcripts are permanently deleted after 30 days. Your Signature Code stays with your account while it is active, is replaced each time you retake the conversation, and is deleted when you delete your account.

A social companion, not clinical therapy

ALIGN+ is built strictly for social discovery and peer connection. It is not a clinical assessment, psychological diagnosis, or a substitute for professional mental health support.
