Camphy Camphy

Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 September 2026 · Camphy Private Limited, India

These terms are an agreement between you and Camphy Private Limited ("Camphy", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Camphy you accept them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Safety Guidelines.

1. About Camphy

Camphy is a social wellbeing platform operated by Camphy Private Limited, India. It helps people nearby who share a mood, interest or intent find each other, form a small group, and meet - online or in the real world. Connect. Heal. Thrive.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Camphy. By using Camphy you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement. Camphy is not directed at minors and we remove accounts we reasonably believe belong to anyone under 18.

3. Your account

You sign in with a supported identity provider (such as Google) and complete a short profile. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Provide accurate information and maintain only one account per person.

4. The service

Camphy lets you publish short posts describing what you feel like doing, set a connection limit on each post, connect to other people's posts, chat in the small group that forms, and plan meetups. Camphy is currently free to use. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly in advance and update these terms; nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you grant Camphy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content within the service so the product can work - for example, showing your post in nearby feeds and your messages to your group. This licence ends for content you delete, except where it has been shared with others (a message already delivered to a group) or where we must retain it by law.

6. AI features

Camphy offers an optional writing aid that suggests a clearer version of your post. Suggestions are generated by third-party AI models, may be inaccurate, and are always shown to you for review - you decide whether to use, edit or discard them, and you remain responsible for what you publish. AI is never required to use Camphy.

7. Prohibited conduct

Do not use Camphy to harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone; to post hate speech, sexual content, or content that is unlawful in India; to solicit, advertise, spam or recruit; to collect other members' personal information; to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; or to interfere with the operation or security of the service. We may remove content and restrict or terminate accounts for breach.

8. Meeting other people

Camphy helps people arrange to meet but does not run, supervise or attend meetings, and does not verify, vet or background-check members. Meet in public places, tell someone you trust where you are going, and use your own judgement. You meet other members at your own risk. Please read the Safety Guidelines before your first meetup.

9. Not a medical or emergency service

Camphy supports social wellbeing through peer connection. It is not a healthcare, medical, counselling, therapy or crisis service, its members are not vetted professionals, and nothing on Camphy is medical advice. The ALIGN+ companion may occasionally offer a general, everyday wellness suggestion (for example, about sleep, taking a break, or talking to someone) when you describe ordinary stress - this is peer-level, non-clinical conversation, never a diagnosis, treatment or medical advice, and it always defers to real human support for anything more than that. Camphy has no SOS or emergency feature and is not a substitute for one. If you are in danger or in a mental-health emergency in India, call 112, or Tele-MANAS at 14416 for mental-health support.

10. Reports and moderation

You can report any post, comment, message, group or member from within the app, and block any member. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. We may also preserve and disclose information where the law requires it.

11. Intellectual property

The Camphy name, logo, product design and software are the property of Camphy Private Limited and are protected by law. These terms do not grant you any right to use the Camphy brand.

12. Disclaimers

Camphy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any post will receive connections, or the outcome of any interaction or meeting between members.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camphy Private Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss or harm arising from interactions between members, from any meeting arranged through the service, or from personal, emotional or psychological outcomes of using the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Camphy and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms, for unsafe behaviour, for repeated credible complaints, or where we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination - including content licences already exercised, disclaimers and limitation of liability - survive.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory law to the contrary, the courts at Kharagpur, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the service.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice inside the product. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

17. Contact and grievances

For questions about these terms, or to raise a complaint, write to support@camphy.in. Privacy-specific requests go to privacy@camphy.in. Grievances under applicable Indian law can be sent to grievance@camphy.in or to the Grievance Officer named below.
